Snow is moving out of CT and our region tonight, In parts of the region it was an impressive snowstorm... For others it was an under-achiever. Snow totals will be released Tonight or Tomorrow Morning. Todays Storm went from Rain to Sleet to snow, With snow transitioning from rain/Sleet in The hills and Western CT first.. And moving into Central CT around 10:30 to 11:00 AM... Where it quickly dropped an coating to an inch, Isolated 2" in some places before transitioning back to Sleet/Rain... Ice accumulated and Caused HAZARDOUS travel before transitioning back to sleet and snow.. Winter Weather Advisories have been Cancelled/Expired for CT.. Although a Wind Advisory is in effect for Hartford, Tolland, New London, Middlesex, Windham, New Haven and Fairfield Counties for wind gusts as high as 50MPH. Isolated wind gusts higher than 50 are possible... (Max is 70MPH)
